I stuck a long handled tank brush in the tank to scrub the eggs off the wood. Both mom and dad attack the brush with a vengence. And kept coming back. The cutest was the male who is a little "gold", very small but very friskie and dominate. He goes after others 3 times his size. He would grab the brush and I would push him away with it and then he'd do as angels do......slam into the brush from clear across the tank at a high rate of speed. It was really cute how bloody aggressive one tiny angel can be.
I removed the eggs to prevent the aggression but it only seemed to increase it.
