I recently set up a new 20 gallon tank, as of right now I have a Creamsicle Lyretail Molly and a Velvet Wag Swordtail. Anyone have any suggestions on a few fish that would go with these fish and look cool also?

'Cool' is subjective and personal.
Personally, I would have went with microrasboras like chillis or galaxies but those are out with your current stock.
What do you like? Are you looking for a centerpiece or a school?
What has caught your eye at the LFS?

I really like tiger barbs but they are too aggressive I hear and i am trying to avoid schools.

I agree TB would be hard on the sword.
Ok, Schooling fish are out.... What are you interested in?
It's not like you don't have options, In no special order: Dwarf Gourami, Rams, Appistos, Dwarf puffers, Shellies, etc...
Your tank is too small for an angel.

Dwarf puffers may well start nipping molly fins and will certainly have problems competing for food.
Another species of livebearer would work well with mollies. T. Espei and T. Hengeli would work in temperament but really do best in semi-blackwater conditions.
Cardinals could work as well. Not ideal in water conditions but the current farm bred cardinals and mollies will likely do well at moderately hard ph 7.5 but that's a schooling species.
A pair of rams could work but would leave you with very little room for anything else.

Thank you Wijnands. :11:
LOL - Yes, I really should have mentioned that the puffers were instead of the current stock not in addition to. That's what I get for putting it in the middle of the list. (blush)

Is there any reason you want to avoid schools? In that tank size, personally, it is better to have big school of small fishies.
