I have two eheim water pumps which i have in the sump in under my tank to send the water back to my tank. The problem is that they are vibrating on the glass bottom of the sump. Is there anything that i can place them on (ie some sort of foam) to reduce the noise? Any help would be great!!!

You could use some filter material such as pads or cotton.

There is a filter in the tank, does it still needs air pump? or just the filter will provide sufficient oxygen to the fishes?

That depends on which fish you keep etc. In the common community tank you usually don't "need" a air pump if the water quality is good and the tank well maintained. An Airpump does however help if the water quality drops for some reason.

I am keeping goldfishes only. I still put the air pump in there with the filter and it has been one week now, the water quality is still clear.
