Has anyone kept mudskippers? My LFS has had some freshwaters ones for a year now and they aren't getting sold. I been considering buying them, but that would involve setting up a new tank. Ever since I saw them I have been fascinated by the fugly little fish.

Before I got to the expense and effort of a new tank I was wondering if anyone here had experience with these unusual amphibious fish? Google info only shows ya the bare bones info, nothing beats hands on experience.

No such thing as freshwater mudskippers. The OCCASIONALLY go into freshwater, but mudskippers are brackish water fish. All species of them are.

Usually when they have to put 'freshwater' in the name they are trying to convince you.
