Bubbles

My male betta is blowing bubbles all arounf the plants on the surface they are not floating plants they are just really long and twine around the waters surface

When a male betta does that, isn't it making a nest for eggs?

thought so but theres no female just 2 goldfish and the bubbles arent just at the plants

They can build nest even if there is no female around. Who knows when your dream date will swim by and wouln't you like to have an nice house to show here when she does.
