guys got a question for you. I am building a concrete block pond in my basement and i want to add viewing windows. I will be sliding the windows into the square corner slats and then sealing them. I am wanting to know if i should go 1/2" or 3/8" for the windows? The opening where the glass will be sliding into is 3/4" wide.
the tank is going to be 40" high X 120" long X 60" wide. I want the windows to be 18-24" tall and 32-40" long.
thanks guys

well, looks like im going with 1/2 glass which will withstand the pressures of the tank.

1/2 inch glass is only recommended for 30" of height. I would go thicker for peace of mind.

You could use half inch if you divide the viewing space with a flat bar steel frame
