Long Fined Blackskirt

At the pet shop they have a blackskirt with extended longfins is this actually a blackskirt or is it something else cause i wanted to buy it

You can find types with "extended longfins" of a long row of species including blackskirt tetras.

Yes this is a black skirt tetra. They are a tetra known for there sometimes agressive nature. But usualy a peaceful hardy fish.

What is a black skirt tetra? never come across one before and I'm thinking of converting a 30 Gallon cichlid tank into a tropical or cold water aquarium due to cichlids over growing tank.
