Hi
I have breed them many times. The albino version can be breed exactly like the regular version.

Just ask anything you want to know. I help you if I can.

Are there any other differences between the male and female bristlenosed because every adult bristlenosed i have seen has bristles?

Perhaps I sshould have state that differently and said that males have much larger bristles. females still have small bumbs which i didn't count as bristles but I suppose one could.

Do the Bristlenose grow them after breeding or before breeding to attract a mate?

they develop the bristles when they get mature and adult fish have them all the time.

Hi there I just bought a pair of bristle nose a couple of days ago I was thinking of breeding them the only info I have on breeding so far is "get a male and female and put a cave in and they will breed"
This sounds too easy is there anything else I should do?

planetcatfish.com or plecofanatics.com can tell you more than you'll ever need to know about breeding catfish.
