so i was thinking about making it an all tiger barb tank but im not sure how many i could put in? but if you guys have any suggestions to put in id be glad to hear it.

(i will most likely end up upgrading to a 20g in the near future too)

I wouldn't recommend tiger barbs in a 10 gallon, they move around quite a bit usually and are territorial with other male barbs at times. You could however, set up a 10 gallon with about 4 or 6 of them and eventually move them to the 20. Just remember that they are very nippy and are particular about their tank mates.

My friend has 6 in a 20g and in my opinion they need more space to be happy. They really dart around the tank.

i may not get a bigger tank till christmas do you think that would be too long? ive always wanted some but couldnt cause of the nippyness

Thats why I got rid of my Mollies because even though they were small in my 20 gallon it just wasn't enough space for how fast they were... Boy talk about hard to catch too.

well i would want to make sure they have enough room so maybe i'll reconsider, any new suggestions? something that would be ok in the 10 when there young and can be moved to a 20 later
