I have a fish that always has a white/clear poop hanging from it. im kinda worried because it does not seem normal. it has been hanging onto the fish for about 3 days.

I think it could be an internal parasite but not sure and don't know how i should treat it. Does anyone have any idea if it is sick or just normal.

That can be a sign of internal parasites. It can also be a sign of constipation too. There's a few things you can try, to see if you can fix your fish up. You can try feeding it some mashed up peas (this is pretty good for constipation). Just soften them, shell them, then squish them into a paste. For the internal parasites, a little bit of minced garlic I've heard is quite good (I have never tried that though, I'm only going on what I've heard). Other than that, a medication such as Clout or ParaGuard might help.

White, long stringie poo is a sure sign of internal worms. Fish poop the color of their food other wise. I would get some PraziPro and treat the whole tank. Remove charcoal and shake the PraziPro up before treating. Good stuff, safe for fish, doesn't hurt the beneficial bacteria and can be used for even preventative measures against internal worms. (Mine are all wormed once a year.)
