Ok, I have a Red Devil that has laid hundreds of eggs a day or so ago, & 99.9% seem to be fertile - Problem is, it is alone in the tank! (Well there is one small Swordtail that he/she hasn't eaten - yet!) Is this possible???? After it killed a large Oscar, It was moved into the tank with my Wolf Cichlid which is also tried to destroy. So it has been alone for atleast a fortnight.
I suppose in another day or so we will find out if they start hatching!!
But I was just curious if anyone else has encountered this.
