AHHH, i was going to go to bed, and my oscar and white convict were going WWF fighting. i tried to catch the convict to go in the 20g, and i moved driftwood. under it were 200 white eggs. i dunno who's they are but im guessing the convicts so theyre separated. at least one one got seriously hurt protecting the eggs

id agree that theyre the convicts. when mine is in breeding condition she gets an orange belly and very aggressive.

you should come over here, the amount of white convicts ive seen the past day or two in the pet shops, has made me realise theyre not rare here. two tanks full!!!!!!

phew, morning. but were the oscar and convict going at it. the convict puffed out at the oscar then it was jawlock fighting. i was trying to net the convict to move him to the empty 20g and i moved a small driftwood piece and was like WTF is this fungus under the wood? then there came the eggs

awesome! Congrats Cocoa. I hope your fish will be ok. Seeing all the cichlids at the lfs yesterday reallllllly made me wish I'd gone with a cichlid tank...but oh well. I'm happy with the choices so far, and I'll have a few cichlids in there.
I saw some med sized parrot fish at my lfs getting all puffed and almost lip locking at the lfs yesterday too. With those cute little faces it's hard to imagine them getting all territorial lol.

lol, and with mine the convict dishes it. the oscar is double the convicts size, so the oscar went by the eggs (which before i never knew about) and the convict would dart for is jaw, and the oscar would just go right back like that at him. incase of any nicks from the fighting theres mela/pimafix in the tanks

congrats cocoa! I am really starting to love cichlids now too. Good luck with that, those white convict fry are gonna be beautiful

nope, my albino cory eggs were white and they werent fungified, fuzzy eggs are bad new though. and lol, yes, fish hatchery time 101. im just gonna get them a tad big then sell sell sell!

lol, i think it would be the convicts that would be famous. i can see it now on ebay "white convict autographs, 199.99$ each", or "meet the white convicts, 10$ each" lol
