Amazon River Basin of peru Setup

I want to set up a 55 gallon tank to match a Amazon setting, how would i go about making the tank look like the Amazon River and what species should i keep

It depends on which Amazon biotope you are thinking about but little lants and bogwood that reach the surface of the tank. for fish I would recommend angels, cory cats and apisto cichlids. but you culd also base it around your oscars and silver dollars.

Also are Black Ghosts and Oscars found in the same areas?

Both species can be found in Peru but i can't say for sure if they are found together.
