pin head size snails are showing up

I have had my 30 gal tank with live plant and driftwood setup for a couple months now. The only fish in the tank so far is a pleco. I started seeing about 6 snails on the glass that are about the size of a pin head. Any ideas where they came from? The driftwood? Also should I leave them go or get a snail eating fish. Thanks in advance.

they came in as eggs on your plants, most likly. in the year you will have a million of them. they most likly a type of pond snail.

Exactly. I would get a snail eating fish to kep them in check.
