Swordtail fry FINALLY able to be sexed!

As many of you know it has been several months since I had a batch of 18 swordtail fry. They are, just this week, beginning to show elongated gonopodiums. Just FYI, that's it!

I'll try to get some pictures this weekend. I am still learning to use my new Canon XTI. I really need to get pics of all of my tanks up so everyone can see my stuff.

Back to the swords, I ended up with 2 males, the other 16 appear to be female. I took my male red velvet from another tank and put him in with the ladies. I am SO jealous of him! My plan is to play around with color variations and see what I can get. I'll separate males/females as early as possible. Oh darn, I suppose another tank will eventually be in order!
