Hi, just wondering if anyone has any luck tying anubias and java fern to madrona(madrone) or manzanita driftwood? Does it look odd compared with some of the thicker driftwood types? If possible, could I have see a picture of it with plants on it? Thanks!

I have moss attached to branchy wood as well as larger pieces. Pictures don't show the java well but the best I can do.

Thanks! That's a beautiful tank. Is it all branchy? What are the larger pieces? I somehow got the idea that I shouldn't mix multiple types of driftwood...

Doesn't matter if you mix woods as long as they are all hardwoods. Mine happens to be all Malayan because I can't break the bank on some of the others I like better. The anubias is growing on a couple 6" pieces. The rest is just some branchy stuff that broke off from large pieces. I'm no decorator. I kind put everything in the tank, move stuff around a few thousands times and hope for the best.
