breeding swordtails

i bought a pair of swordtails 3 weeks ago and they are happy and healthy in their tank, how long till i should be expecting the female to become pregnant?

not too long i would imagine, but if possible add another female just in case

The whole process from when she is fertilized untill she will have her fry is 6 weeks.
So it would depend if she has a big fat belly, and you will start to notice a dark black spot by her anus....that spot is the babies developing so when that gets fairly large and her belly gets big then you are close to her having babies.
