i dont know why, but it is! first the rainbow sharks bred, and now a black neon is pregnant, for sure not fat.

Congratulations! Good luck with the fry - neons are supposed to be very sensitive.

I always heard that Neon's were like impossible to breed. You must be lucky!! Maybe the condition of the water is perfect for breeding? Good Luck with all that Breeding...lol!!

that 55g is whack. i would be happy with even a molly breeding since i dont need fry now but the neons go in for breeding now. i think the rainbows only felt like breeding once

EDIT- oh crap, i just remembered something, i had a huge orange sailfin in my 55g and i havent seen it since before europe

ooops, sounds like you lost it. that happened with my two glass catfish, it took my 4 yr old daughter to tell me theyd dissapeared. i felt like a really slack fish mummy after that

yep, i think the molly passed on. he was weird though, he was a orange sailfin albino. he was physically healthy but he would lie down behind plants, and he was never bloated or sick. and my flying fox died too of old age, i saw it coming since he was acting old
