the female should look plumper than usual and look ready to give birth

Ok well i heard something about a black dot somewhere on the fish when they are close to being pregnant??
Is this ture? and where would i find the black dot?

lol, forgot that part. there is a black dot and im pretty sure its around the anal area

Well then she must be pretty close to giving birth because there is a black dot by her anus and well it is big and she is REALLY REALLY fat. I just bought her about 3 days ago from my LFS and like in the tank there was a bunch of little babies too and 1 male with like 6 females so all of my females have to be fertilized.

well that is good because i want to have fry and i already have places set up for them when they come and if they survive.
