Can you keep snails in the same tank with turtles?

i have never had turtles, but i think you can. they might be snacks though

Assume that whatever goes in with turtles will end up as food.

The only way you can ever have a tankmate with a turtle is to make sure you buy as babies( Less than 1 inch in lenght) And make sure they were never fed fish. Then you put them in a tank big enough for the turtle, plus a fish(20g and over) Then put in a fish thats atleast 3 or 4 times its size..if you get a fish that stays less than 4 inches or a skinny fish(bichirs) They will get eaten. But i have seen this red eared turtle that was about 8 inches in lenght with a few goldfish its size.

By the way no on the snail lol. Except if its those HUGE african snails..
