I currently have a 29 gal. with three mollies, two guppies, two swords, four Cory cats, a Chocolate Pleco, and two Otto cats. I am not using salt. Would they all be better off with some salt in the aquarium. If so how much per gallon.

Salt is not recommended for "scaleless" fish such as your corys. Keeping mollies and using salt is highly debated. Some people swear they need it, others have success keeping them without. Either way however, you should not add salt to your tank given its current inhabitants.

I don't use any salt in with my cories for the reason gm72 mentioned.

Personally when my dad and I kept mollies when I was younger, we never used salt. they were all fine. With the cories being in there, salts not a good idea, so I would just leave it out all together. Like I said, my mollies growing up were just fine without the salt.
