i need this off my mind. years ago from a small store i bought a fish named "clown loach". i didnt know what a clown loach was and found out he wasnt one. he was a 7" snakeish thing with black, orange, and white bands. he died from ich (didnt know how to properly treat it then) but to this day i could never find what he was. any ideas?

Sounds like Botia dario or perhaps B. historonica (sp.). Check out loaches.com as most Botia and Chromobotia species are illustrated there.

DAM, isnt there! this is insane! good link though, its under my bookmarks. It fit under sepentine, but was 7" long and cornsnake markings

he had more banded markings on him and his colors were brighter than on this pic (cornsnake)
