Ya... got off to a very bumpy start with this tank thanks to a piece of decor with holes in it where a lot of my clowns got trapped... subsequently, they got stressed and ick followed.
I replaced all the clowns along with a couple of my yoyo's and a few silver dollars... raised the temp to 84° and used aquarium salt to treat the ick.
The tank's very healthy now... thumbs2:

I'm glad to hear, and see that Mith
I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your fish as they grow. I'm a little jealous of your tank to be honest. I've always want to give a small school of clown loaches a try but never had a tank big enough to keep them.
Keep us posted Mith thumbs2:

Right now, my stocking is... 2 peacock eels, 10 clowns, 16 SD's, 3 yoyo's and one spotted loach. I would love to pick up maybe three zebra loaches, but I can't find them.... sigh

Funny thing... I seldom to water changes on my two 50g's... and those fish are thriving... if I do more than a 50% on my 125, I lose Calvis (or if I clean the filters too much). I do water changes in my 125 about twice a week because with all the cichlids, it just gets too dirty!
But yes, dying fish is a bad thing... most of the chichlids i lose (like I just lost two jewel chichlids) are due to aggression.
