Hi there new to the site.
I just got a 48 gallon.
I'm thinking of finnally getting some cichlids. So here my stock I'm thinking of:
8-10 Harqulin Rasobras(or small tetra)
6 Corys
1 Dwarf Gourami
as for the cichlids:
Pair of keyholes
Pair of Rams(blue)

Someone told me that rams and keys like to stick to the bottom, so they said the bottom might be a little full...is this true?

Does this sound like a good stock? Plant are in there I have a heater and a Fuval filter.
Dose this sound good ...and does anyone have ne better suggestions?

I think everything sounds good. The keyholes will spend much of their time in the middle of the tank.

What I might suggest is some type of algea eater like a bristlenose catfish and perhaps a couple of females for the dwarf gourami.

Well, Ive gone and changed my mind agian, I dicided that the Keys are not coulor full enogh so:

I have a 48G(cycled) current stock:
6Corys
6Serpae Tetra(getting 4 more)

Getting:
Pair Blue Rams
1Dwarf Gourami

I was supposed to get Keyholes but I don't like them too much.
I was thinking another pair of rams or AngleFish?
Anyother suggestion?

Be forewarned, although blue rams are generally not aggressive, my male harassed the daylights out of my dwarf gourami's, the 2 female rams I bought for him, and the bolivian ram I tried!

How high is your tank. Asking since it might be small for adult angels.
