The day that I bought this guy, the pet shop was being manned by someone who had very little clue about what sort of fish this was. Even so, he caught my eye and I couldn't resist but bring him home. Since then, I have been trying desperately to figure out what variety he is. So far, I haven't been successful in figuring it out. I'm pretty sure he's a catfish/pleco, though I'm not 100%. He has the bristles, and he uses the catfish mannerisms. I'd be extremely grateful if someone could enlighten me about him. thumbs2:

Thats a yoyo loach, Botia almorhae. They belong in schools of at least 4 individuals.

Wow, I honestly thought he was a pleco of some kind. This answers a lot though.

Also, they will grow to about 5 to 6 inches in length. Plan accordingly.
