At the gazebo (pet shops name is gazebo) they have Male Battas in about one litre containers and i was curious if a 3 gallon wouldnt still be cruel to keep it in so would a 3 gallon be a good size?

seen dozens of betta yesterday in 1/2 cups of water. anythings better than that! on way back from airport stop to every pet shop.!

Setup a densely planted tank with a lot of floating plants and a few females and he'll be very happy.

Breeding is always fun. i always decorate all my community tank to allow al the speices I keep to breed in them since I want to breed everything ;-)

I have a spare Container which i used to keep feeder fish in its 59cmx17cmx32cm and i was thinking of using that for the better would that be cruel ill set it up properly and everything but if i were what would be the BEST floor style gravel sand ETC thanx and is it nicer to warm the tank for the better or cold?

Im not sure if my betta is eating enogh he looks healthy but i rarley see him take a nibble i tried feeding him frozen blood worms but when they sunk he ignored them the goldfish get them but he eats some flake what can i do?

Keep an eye on him. Betta eats in another way than cichlids etc. more slowly and spitting out more food.
The tank you described could be set up for bettas

turns out i had to switch the betta and golds with the baby convicts as they are growing fast
