Okay....The BBA on my Anubias is slowly getting better but I also have some brown algae on the older leaves of my amazon swords. My 65 Gallon tank has been up and running for over 3 years but I will admit that when my Python was out of commission the past coupls of months my water changing schedule went out the door due to various reasons too. I did them, just not weekly.
So now that I'm back on track with my water changes will this algae eventually go away or is there something else I need to do to get rid of it?
Oh, I'm pruning the plant because several leaves are looking a little raggedy for some reason and just need to go. There has been quite a bit of new growth ever since I put the root tabs back in the substrate (hadn't done that for a very long time) I want to keep those leaves nice and green.
What to do about the brown algae on the leaves that are remaining?
