filter working

i have question about filters.

i want to know ho much time my filter must work. is it have a formula or it depend's on the water quality or feeding?

If you turn off the filter the nitrifying bacteria in the filter will die off causing the tank to have ammonia & nitrites which will harm or kill your fish. Plus the filter creates water circulation and oxygen in the tank water that the fish need to survive.

A filter in a sense is like your body functioning...it never stops nor is there any reason for it to stop.
