Is this bad???

Hello all!!!:22:My 29 gallon tank is almost cycled and this the last thing I need to clear up. During the beginning of my cycle I begain to find a clear to brown, slimy, film cothering some of my decerations(some greek colums, the air tube for the air stone, and an alien skull all of which bought at petco on the same day). Dose anyone know what this is? Is it just alage or is it somthing that will be dangerous to my fish. Thanks for your help!!!:hmm3grin2orange:

sounds like diatoms. Very common in new tanks, and harmless. You can wipe it off of things, it will eventually stop coming back if your tank is well-maintained.
