Would you use this in your tank? Or is it a bad ideal?

Not for love or money. Bacteria and natural infauna do the job naturally in mature aquariums.

I sure wouldn't. Nothing is better for your fish than regular tank and gravel cleaning and regular water changes. The less junk you put in your tank, the better off you and your fish will be.

Natures way is always best.

Personally, I feel that I would hope to never have to use something like that. I've seen it in the stores, but never really looked at it. Agreeing with the above posters, the less chemicals in your tank, the better. The best way to keep a healthy tank is to properly maintain it, thus reducing the need for a product like that. After reading the info on the web page, it also says you should also use Nutrafin Cycle Biological Filter Supplement at the same time you use Waste Control to contain any ammonia and nitrite spikes caused by Waste Control, so I'd have to say that I doubt I'd use it.

never. i enjoy w/c's. its part of keeping fish and anyone who is trying to get around simple tasks by dumping chemicals into the tank shouldn't be in the hobby.
