What are you feeding him? My Oscar is about 9-10 inches and growing slower now. I am feeding him pellets mostly and feeders rarely. He seemed to go though his biggest growth spurts when I was feeding him guppies and goldfish more often.

How are the other fish doing? Does he look thin with a con-cave belly? It is not rare for a green terror's length to reach 8-10" max/full grown. The best thing to do right now is start ruling out possibilities.

Just a thought but do you worm your fish? My fish all get wormed once a year whether I think they need it or not. Probably not the cause here but worms can cause slow growth due to the nutrient loss. I use PrazPro and it works great, doesn't mess with the BB and just makes me feel better knowing I've done it. (Like worming a dog.)
