This is a pretty vague thread, and you haven't really asked a question. I'm sure people will have some answers if you have some questions, and you will always get a better response if you list your tank information.

What are your water parameters? What is the tank setup? What equipment/food are you using? What research have you done? What information are you still looking for?

How big shold the tank be,I have done all this research on how to breed an african dwarf frog. Although I want someone to give me some ideas who have done this in the past or at least knows what to do. Some qeustions still remain too. Shoud they go in a seperate tank and how large must it be? What must be the appropriate temp. and will they just breed easily/quickly or will they be really hard to breed (it seems they are "suppose" to be easy to breed, but I am not sure)? Any other input would be helpful.
Thanks in advance

From what I've heard and read, breeding ADF's is not simple. You need something called Infusoria (a collection of single celled animals) in the tank (which you would need to order) or the tadpoles will die within two weeks.

Here's a link about it, I'm sharing it in the spirit of hoping you're really serious or realized it's too big a project!

I've seen at least three easy to find sites online by people who have documented their success in breeding just for enjoyment. Lots of good info out there. Google it!

I considered breeding them too, and my LFS owner (knowledgable guy) said there is a reason most people don't breed ADF's, it's difficult and most fish stores buy from Singapore where the water is already right for them, food is nearly free, labour is cheap, and temperature is perfect.

Makes sense.

Anyway, if you do go ahead and do it, we would LOVE to hear about it.

They're delicate little creatures so I hope you go into it full-heartedly.

I am very serious about this, and I have read about infusoria and currently a few cultures are on its way. Thanks for the help though. The reason why I am even asking these questions is because different people breed animals in different ways, so I wanted to get different input on how to breed an ADF and synthesize them all into one and maybe perhaps better results. As for any eggs that may come my way, I will so tell everyone about it and hopefully post pictures.
