Well I have some cory eggs now- moved them inside a large decorative shell to keep them away from fish but yet I can see them. Seems they have turned fuzzy so I guess that means fungus. I saw that you can use the methane blue or whatever to keep it away- but is there anything else I can do or not do to at least try to get some eggs to hatch?

They may have fungus because they were infertile too.

Indian almond leaves will also help prevent fungus. It is not as effective and will effect the water chemistry (lower ph and hardness)

strong current flow also helps prevent fungus. Unfortunately you moved them into a protected area that most likely had zero current flow, so I'm sure that contributed to them fungusing over. It's probably too late for this batch, but if they spawn once they're likely to keep doing it.

I bought a breeder net that hangs on the inside top of the tank. The current helps to keep the fungus at bay. They are rather difficult to transfer without having them float away on you.lol Once the fry are large enough they can go in with the rest.
