Hi, me again with yet, another question!

I have a sw aquarium that has only been up for about 2 weeks now and live rock for one week. My pH is 7.8. I just bought a alkalinity test kit and it shows my alkalinity is off the chart on the high end. Is that possible to have low pH but really high alkalinity?
What should I do to fix it?

There are ways of lowering pH without getting rid of alkalinity (such as injecting CO2), but by and large, to lower pH, you need to get rid of kH (alkalinity). I don't see what the problem is though. You have a pH of 7.8, which is fairly high, and a high alkalinity as well.

7.8 is definately too low for saltwater. You want it about 8.3, but the short answer is don't do anything. The tank hasn't been up and going long enough to cycle and settle in. Have patience.
