Howdy!! I don't have a tank yet but an going to get one soon. I came to this site so then I can get advice so then i don't become one of the fish tank failures.

Welcome. What I would recommend to anyone is to do a fishless cycle before ever buying your first fish. You can read about fishless cycling here in the Tank Set up threads.

And check out what fish goes with what and what size they will get.

welcome to ac! make sure you research about cycling. its best to start with a tank around 33g to 55g since that way you can stock more and the levels stay better for longer and if ever a power outage occured youre fish would be safer for longer
