Once again, my 5 new plants arrived in perfect conditions. I really get great plants from this guy on Ebay. Shipping is about $6.50 for a plant but he combines shipping so I got these 7 crypts for $8.50 shipping only.

I guess this sounds a bit like spam but believe me, I got such awful plants from another seller on Ebay that this guy has me totally thrilled! :c3:

Now all I need to do is hurry up and kill them all. :27:

That was the shipping. Plants were $4.50.

I've gotten great plants from him everytime. I manage to kill them all but that isn't his fault. :c5:

You have a really negative attitude. What's the wattage of your tanks.

It's something in her water. I've already tried, believe me, lol.

Yup. When you've invested about $200 already and have killed everything you've planted, it does get frustrating. I should stick with house plants. Those I am great at!

LOL YES YOU HAVE! And I will get there yet if it kills me. :c5: Switching types of plants, leaving lights off longer and removing phosphates and silica may help.

I added some peat to the tank today. Maybe that might help some. I think if I invested in an RO I'd see a big difference.

Well, you've got the lighting, got the CO2 (is it dropping the pH by 1.0 though?) so really the only things missing is maybe the substrate, but most likely the ferts. TBH, I doubt hard water really effects swords that much, because I grew them just fine in my hard well water.

Then it's me. They look at me and wither away. LOL

One of my good LFS's is called Wet Pets. What a coincidence.

Crypts do the 'I'm melting, I'm melting' thing whenever they are moved from tank to tank. They do come back if you leave them where you planted them.
C'mon Hobbs, Crypts are amongst the easiest.
By the way, I do appreciate the gifts, but now I'm a double-super banana (tho' I admit its not the first time).
