i know gt's grow slow. but i was wondering if anyone knows about how much they can grow each month in a 75 gallon with good water maintenance? i just got one it is about 2 inches.

Depends on what your definition of good water maintenance is. Are you talking about 75% water changes 1X per week or 1X per month? (Just FYI, I have 2 Managuense in a 180, & I do 75% 2-3x per week; they are messy feeders & put a tremendous bio-load on the tank) Will the GT be kept by itself, or w/ other fish ? Also, what do you intend on feeding it? Good nutrition is paramount for growth in young fish.:22:

I'd guess he could probably get to 6-7 inches in a year.
