South American Cichlid has ailment

I have South American Cichlids 6 years old and have grown quite large. Problem is 1 of them is floating around on it's side. When I go to tank she swims to me normal and looks healthy, but when she is hanging around she is on her side. I have changed water, checked water and cannot figure out the problem. Been going on for a couple of weeks. Help!

What species of cichlid. Try posting it in the South American Cichlid area.
