thank you he does look good in that pic right now he has a bad case of fungus im trying to treat.

If he doesn't improve, you may need to get some Maracyn.

lots of frequent water changes should help. I would hate to see the fungus get worse or HITH for that matter. big oscars are large waste machines and need lots of clean water. they are an aggressive fish that gets lots of scrapes and cuts. fungus will start easily in these areas when the water quality is even a bit off.

I mentioned the Maracyn because many of the conditions that appear to be fungal are actually bacterial. Fungus will generally go away on it's own with water changes but bacteria will not improve without treatment.
