I have a musk turtle which is female around 14 months old. Lives in a tank with a male which is younger. However the female has suddenly become swollen all over but particularly around its backside. She has been like it now for 2 days. She still eats a little but is not as active as normal. This turtle is very fussy and will only eat Repitmin Sticks after trying it on other foods. They live in a large tank with a UV lamp and basking area / lamp however i have never seen either of them bask since I have had them, and I did read that they may come out of the water when ill although she has not done this. I do have stones on the bottom of the tank however this isnt like the gravel found in a fish tank these are large pebbles like beach stones that are alot bigger than the turtles head. The tank water is heated around 25 degrees. If anyone one has any ideas please let me know. Thanks
