first killies i've ever had and I am proud parent of about 30 fry! they are about 6 weeks old but don't seem to be growing much, been feeding them first on liquifry then changed to decapsulated brine shrimp eggs but I'm not sure if they're eating it, they're in a 20L tank alone at the moment and are about 1/2 to 1 cm long so if any body has any useful hints/tips on raising these fry i.e feeding, water changes, temperature then they will be very welcome! :D

I know I am resurrecting an old thread, but it had no answers, so I thought I would anyway...

Liquifry is largely pointless here - australe fry can, and should eat newly hatched artemia from the get go... supplemented with micrworms or banana worms if a hatch fails. After a week or so they will be able to take grindal worms, and may start eating some finely powdered flake (fry flake).

Like all killies they grow fairly quickly... insufficient feeding will result in canibalism, with a few outgrowing (and eating) their smaller siblings.

Artemia is the most important part of the killi fry equation!
