I've got nano fry!

A pair of my nanos has been acting unusually aggressive towards their tankmates, so I figured they were close to spawning. I've been thinking about pulling more of the nanos out to give the pair privacy but haven't gotten around to it. Tonight, after feeding, I noticed not only have they spawned, but I've got free swimmers! I am going to leave this batch and see how many make it. I'd love to raise a bunch of these little guys out and get them to more people in the hobby, they're such awesome looking fish. The video is not great, but they're tiny still.

Very cool fish. I had a pair I got in auction early last year. Never got any fry though, and then male went carpet surfing one night.

What kind of water parameters you keep them at? tank size? other fish in tank?

They're in full tap water, and I am not sure the exact hardness and pH. It's a lot softer than my water in Texas, yet there are more tds than my water in ATL (which was about 0). Right now they're crammed in a 29g with 7 other nanos (need to sell off some but I'm very hesitant to ship them since they're so sensitive), some L144 grow outs, some SAE grow outs, a pair of L183s, and some glowlight danios.

If you lived in the US I could. They're known to be very sensitive fish, I'm hesitant to ship them at all. The fry will hopefully travel better than the adults are likely to.

Revised stocking plan: pair of nanos, plus the SAE, danios, and plecs. The other nanos were getting knocked around so I put them all in the 180g. Now I have about a billion fish in the 180g.
