Ok...so had a set back with a tank blowing a seal - everything but one female and two male rams survived. It's odd the runts of the group were the only ones to survive.
In the process of setting up a new tank, tweaking water flow, plant setup, etc....I noticed they were all being anti-social...and sure enough they spawned maybe the day before...fungus claimed around half....
It's their first batch, so I pulled the eggs into my 2.5gl hospital tank and as of yesterday I've gotten some wrigglers...
I've got First Bites and normally cycle through batches of live bbs...but since the fry are much smaller than my normal cichlids...not sure what the best food would be...
I've researched the forums on the food, but best I've gotten is potentially microworms, bbs, and egg yolk - but no-one really gave a definitive post on the matter.
SO questions:
1. so they are free swimming around 3 days? Should I start feeding when I see the first free-swimmer?
2. Of course...what would be the best food to feed?
Thanks in advance! :help:
