I am now thinking of a 15g tall in my empty space. What do you think of this stocking idea?
5 Harlequin Rasbora
7 Bumble Bee Gobbies or 7 Cardinal Tetras
2 Swordtails
That stocking would be fine given adequate filtration. However, not sure how the rasboras would react to the tall tank. From what I understand, they prefer longer vs. taller tanks.

I gave away my 10g that my Firebelly toads were in that died about a month ago.
The tank I am talking about are the 15G talls that you see fish in at your LFS.
Well I don't see fish in 15 gallon long tanks at my LFS, but you apparently see them at yours. My comments still stand, but hey, I may be wrong, and we all know that your mileage may vary. Maybe the rasboras wouldn't mind the vertical shift. I was thinking that most fish tend to swim generally side-to-side (exception of course being labyrinthine fish).

I have 5 harlequins in a 2.5Ft long 120L high tank, and they seem to do fine.

But there is a big difference between 30 inches and 20 inches of swimming length. By the time you add a few plants to both ends of the tank, you end up now with 15 inches of swimming space. Not enough for rasbora's in my opinion. I would just put the cardinals in that tank and maybe 3 gobbies.

Ha when I was thinking of usin the 10g before I gave it away you guys told me 5 Rasboras would be great in a 10g. In my 10G I have 5 Hatchets, 2 small Amazon Swords and 4 fake Dwarf Hairgrass.

I am still going to go with 5 Harliquan(I know I spelled it wrong) Rasboras and 7 Cardinal Tetras, but I can not decide from 2 Swordtails or 2 Otos Cats?
Which one you pick?

I'd go with the oto's - they do a great job keeping my little 10 gallon clean

My local store only sells 15g tall. It's a Rectangle 15g tall not a round 15g tall. I could fit a 20g long Regular that my store sells, but I am going with the 15g tall

I thought all day want I wanted in the 15g. I decided to go with a 20g. I also made up my mind. 7 H. Rasboras and 7 Cardinal Tetras. How does that sound?
