I have had my aquarium less than 2 weeks now. I added a few mollies 2 days ago to a few tetras and platys already in the tank. One of the mollies had a tail rot and so I had to return them. After this I was doing a PWR and surprise... I see two fry in the bucket. I have put them in a breeder tank and should see what they are. The platys don't look pregnant.. I dont even know their gender. But one of the mollies that I returned did look pregnant ..... the one with the tail rot. I want to see how these fry develop. Hope they survive.

are the fry still in your tank?

Fry can hide very well when in a big tank so don't be surprised if you fine more in the tank. I'd make sure to get a good look in there to be sure there aren't more hiding because the other fish will eat them with out even thinking about it. Good Luck with the two you found!

She is right. I thought for over a month that I had 16 swordtail fry. I had 18. For over a month. In a well-maintained tank. Opps.

The two little ones are doing good now. I have to look carefully in the tank now. Hope to find more.:c3:

My guess is that you will. Little buggers are hard to find sometimes.

No luck in finding any more, I hope I didn't squish any. I have put the two fry in a breeding tank I bought at petsmart and let it float in the main tank itself.
