Fresh spinach, zucchini, peas and lettuce are stuff i see on the websites that convicts eat. but when i put peas in the tank the convicts havent eaten them for like 2 days then i had to take them out do u know why they wouldnt eat the peas?

because they do not know what in the world it is. i do not feed any of that stuff. now i give them alot of water plants to munch on if they want to. one of these days somebody is going to have to show wild fish how to plants so they can eat the right food!!

oh i know, but how mush of that do they get in the wild.

In short they will eat all that but you will have to train them to make them understand that it's food.

train means that you have to get them to realise that the vegetables are food.

The most coomon method is to starve your fish a little and than offering them the thing you want them to start eating. (perhaps together with small amounts of something they now as food.)
