So I am looking for a freshwater puffer for my wife. She (and I) really have fallen in love with puffers. Now I have seen dwarf puffers and I really like them and will have a tank with one in it but she does not. Because they are so small. So I was hoping that the puffer fans out there could maybe point me down another direction. I have read that F8's are brackish but the fish profiles I see including the one on here says they are freshwater. Now I have no interest in keeping a fish in an unsuitable environment so that's why I am here and asking.

Thanks for all of the help ladys and gents

check out green spotted puffers, things look cool imo, i know they can be in freshwater but they do better in brackish
