Well Paulie & I were talking and I really want to change things up around here...Well he is talking about getting 100g tank for his Oscars I already have a 75g on layaway with my LPS. Well, I spoke to the owner this AM and he said he would let me switch to 100g and just sell the 75g to someone else no biggie. I got that straitened out. So now Hubby wants to put the 2 JD's in the 60g(no problem) Then I was thinking my Hex has been up and running for almost 5yrs next month and I thought I'd give it a break. Disassemble that one, put my fish from the Hex into the 45g w/the hood and stand, and just store my hex for a yr or so then I wanted to give a SW tank a try after our wedding and what not. Well Hubby has other Ideas let me tell you...lol He wants to turn the Hex into a tank with some mean Tropical fish and maybe an eel!!! Yes an EEL!! I HATE EELS!! They creep me out, I had a very bad experience with an eel in a lake I used to go swimming at and just DON"T like them!!! Well I don't mind the mean Trops because the Cichlid have some very pretty colors and I could look into if there are any that will be happy in a 37.5g Hex. The guy will not budge, he has been bugging me for an eel the whole time we have had tanks going I almost had him convinced to get a loach instead but NOOOOOOOO his mind is set.

So Please ANYONE, with ANY ideas at all on the whole situation PLEASE feel free to give me your 0.02 cents. I really want to make some changes around here and just want other opinions of what you all would do or even think I should or could do with the fish and tanks that we already have. What would you change? How would you set things up? Would you buy more fish? HELP!!!!

Here is a list of the tanks & sizes then the fish we have

1) 60gal standard
2)45gal standard W/stand and hood
3)37.5gal Hex
4)30gal Tall
5)2-10gal standard
6)5.5gal hex(feeder tank)

OK here are the fish
60g
1)2 Oscars
2)1 Brown Bullhead Catfish
45g
3)2 Jack Dempsy's
37.5g Hex
4)1 Blue Spot Gourami
5)2 Red Eye Tetra
6)2 Phantom Tetra
7)1 Betta
30g Tall
8) 10,000,000 Guppy's

PLEASE HELP WITH ANY IDEAS YOU HAVE!!!
Thanks a Bunch in advance

Eels are great! Seriously they are the only fish I know of that are almost as friendly with their owners as Oscars

If you get a fire or tiretrack eel they will learn to recognize you and eat out of your hand - when they are not hiding.

Oh really? we do that with the Oscars & our Catfish already, it is just they are so scary looking to me...lol I will have to look into it a bit more and see if there are any that I would be able to live with. Any Other Ideas on the rest of my dilemma?
