I am thinking of making a massive well not too big but one which goes throughout my 4ft long tank a pvc cave system but I do not want a ugly plastic pipe on show so I am covering it all with rocks and gavel and aswell java moss, I hear silecone is fine but does anyone have any names of glue and places I can get it, I have a hot glue gun which is supposed to be fine aswell but I need confirmation please!

Be sure you have the correct type.:22:

Aquarium safe silcione. There are several kinds and label their product as aqarium safe. We live in different countries so what we have here is probably not what you may have there but you're bound to find aquarium safe silicones somewhere. Check your fish shops.

the hot glue is fine, but it will deteriorate over time, just kinda dissolves. GE silicone is a staple, I think gorilla glue gel works fine too.

The marine epoxy is awesome, but it can be a bit expensive for big projects. All of these can be found on amazon.com
