Last night I refilled my DIY Co2 bottle and I left the yeast out overnight. Is it still going to work the next time or do I need to buy new stuff. I just tossed it back in the refridgerator this morning.

If it was the powder type (dry) it should be fine.

My guess is that it should be fine. When you go to the grovery store to buy it, it is not refrigerated.
For moment there I thought you meant that you left it out of your reactor.

It's refridgerated at the grocery stores around here.
Also, it hasn't started bubbling yet, I did 2 cups of sugar and like 3/4 teaspoon of yeast in a 2 liter soda bottle.
Any thoughts?

Put some sugar in some warm water in a small cup and add some of the yeast - it should get foamy after a few minutes - if it does the yeast is OK.

well the water in my reactor is pretty foamy, should the bottle be really really full of pressure? You can squeeze mine, it doesn't seem like it has that much pressure in it.

Just go ahead and add it now.

The bottle should only get real hard if the system is clogged up - meaning it should always be squishy

the reason its not refridgerated at the store is because its vacuum sealed, so once you open it you're supposed to put it in the fridge. I would wait at least a day before you would know for sure if your co2 system is working. mine usually doesn't do anything the first day.

It's bubbling like hell now. I have had the actual cap on the 2 liter for the past few days just holding the gasses in because I had to reseal my cap with the silicone. That bottle fills full of pressure in like an hour.

you do realize that if you close the system you have created a bomb. I would not recommend doing this unless you like loud noises and cleaning yeast and sugar off of your ceiling.
